General description of the project

Missions and tasks of the project:

1) Providing the reliable power supply of consumers East Kazakhstan region at the maximum deficiencies (in hours of a winter minimum, at decrease in delivery of Bukhtarminsky hydroelectric power station and Shulbinsky hydroelectric power station to 0 as a result of participation of station in regulation);

2) Decrease in dependence of a covering of deficiencies of power of the East Kazakhstan region on the Russian Federation.

Components of the project Construction of 500 kV provide the following volumes of construction:

500 kV SS Ekibastuz – SS Semei with total length 405.5 km;

PTL 500 Kv SS Semei – SS Ust-Kamenagorsk with total length 192.9 km;
